Terms and Conditions


There are 3 ways for you to collect your order:

  • You can collect your order directly from the School Shop.

Please email the Shop so we can arrange the time.

  • We can deliver items directly to the Boarding House
  • If you live in the UK, we can send your items to you

The cost of delivery will be calculated at the time of shipping. Please ensure that you place your order early if you would like items shipped to you to avoid items arriving after the start of term.

If you would like items mailed to you, please email schoolshop@sherborne.org after completing your order to advise us.


Orders are not available for collection until they have been marked as fulfilled by shop staff. Order confirmation and Order Fulfilment emails will be sent to the email address given at the time of order. Please check your spam folder of your email provider, in addition to your main mailbox, for possible email correspondence.

Please ensure you have your order confirmation details ready if collecting items from store.

Should a particular uniform item be out of stock an alternate size may need to be substituted.

Some items are not available for delivery/collection immediately as they may require special delivery/tailoring.

Returns and exchanges

Should you change your mind, or items ordered are unsuitable, you will have a period of 14 days, beginning on the day your order is received, to cancel or return items for exchange. Please be aware that your right to cancel does not apply to all items that are sold, eg; made to order items, items of stationery and toiletries.

If you wish to cancel an order you must inform us, either via e-mail to schoolshop@sherborne.org, or directly in shop (if the pupil is managing the return). The Shop will not accept any costs associated with returning the items (eg postage charges). The Shop may not accept items that show signs of wear or damage. 

Refunds can only be made to the card that was used to pay for the item(s). 

If mailing items back to the School Shop the returns should be addressed as follows:

Sherborne School Shop, Abbey Road, Sherborne, Dorset, DT9 3LF.

The School will support the exchange of ill fitting uniform items purchased, either through house matron/school staff, or with a pupil directly in store. 

Staff Discount

We are currently unable to apply staff or other discount to online transactions.


Product photos are taken internally or provided by the manufacturers. The photos should be used as a general indication of the style and fit only. If you wish to clarify any product details before ordering please contact us at schoolshop@sherborne.org.


Occasionally, an error may occur and goods may be either incorrectly priced or described in which case we will not be obliged to supply the goods at the incorrect price or in accordance with the incorrect description or at all. We reserve the right to correct any errors from time to time. We will (at our discretion) either cancel your order and refund the price you have paid or use reasonable endeavours to contact you and ask you whether you wish to continue with the order at the correct price or correct description.
